Aycock Wedding ~ Cullman, AL

” We found each other on an online dating site.
First time we met, we met up at Piggly Wiggly and I drove her to my house and made her supper.
We watched a movie and later made a bon fire where I told her everything about me.
I laid my heart out that night because I knew I would never have to share it with anyone else again.”
– Cameron Aycock

” Cameron proposed on our one year anniversary. We went to Olive Garden.
He was acting so weird the whole time so I had a hunch,
but I didn’t want to get my hopes up too high because I didn’t want to get upset if he didn’t propose.
On the way back, he had told me he planned on us getting a blanket and going to Heritage Park
to watch the sunset and then gaze at the stars.
I knew then that something was really up!
We got to the back of the park where the little bridge is, put our blanket down,
and he said stand up and see if you can see the sun from here cause I think the buildings will be blocking it.
So I stood up took a step or two and said “yeah I think we are good”,
I turned around and he was on one knee.
I was ecstatic, to say the least!
In the end we decided to go on home because it was hot and no stars were out.”
– Makenzie Aycock

“I love her sense of humor and compassion for others.
She always seem to put my needs before hers in most situations.”
– Cameron Aycock

” I love that a day has not gone by without him making me laugh.
He always puts a smile on my face no matter what kind of day I’m having
and I feel safe from this world when I’m with him.”
– Makenzie Aycock

” My favorite part of the Wedding was cutting the cake, eating it, and shoving it in Makenzie’s face.”
– Cameron Aycock

” My favorite part of our wedding day was our dance.
We danced to ‘ I Do’ by Mark Wills.
Cameron would sing a few parts while we were dancing just to make me laugh!
I had never heard of it until like the week before when Cameron showed me.
I loved that he picked it out! ”
– Makenzie Aycock

This beautiful wedding was located in Camp Meadowbrook in Cullman, AL.
It was my first time there and I was absolutely blown away with how beautiful this location was!
Per their facebook page,
“Camp Meadowbrook is a multi-use facility that is owned and operated by the Cullman County Soil and Water Conservation District.
It’s primary focus is to be a conservation education facility.
To help with the cost of upkeep, the facilities can be rented for family reunions,
organizational meetings and parties, weddings, political, and other events.”

I love how they have opened it up for events
so bride and grooms like Cameron and Makenzie can have their dream wedding!

It stormed right before the ceremony and continued to rain for the rest of the evening.
Despite having to move the outdoor ceremony into the reception area,
the wedding still turned out wonderfully!
Makenzie’s brother was the one to marry her and Cameron
which made the ceremony extra special.

Thank you Cameron and Makenzie for choosing me to capture your big day.
You are both absolutely so sweet and made my job super easy!
I love all the details of your wedding day and truly enjoyed freezing them in a photograph!

May God bless your marriage and future together!
