“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.”
” I have often thought about what my favorite memory will be,
one that I can hold onto forever and cherish when she grows up and leaves me.
Every moment is remembered, but several stand out in my mind.
When Mia learned to walk up steps in our home, she would stop every few steps and wave to me while holding her daddy’s hand. This will always be in my heart.
Whenever she looks up at me and smiles or hugs me – those are the ones I will cling to.
Every moment with a child is significant….
every diaper change, every bath, every piece of meat you cut up.
But the moment that has touched me most is when I was getting ready for work a few mornings ago. Mia had brought her step stool in the bathroom and stood on it to play in the sink.
She leaned over and hugged my belly and kept holding me. It was like she was holding Cooper.
It was then that I thought, we can do this, we can make 2 kids work together and love each other.
We are blessed, we are loved.”

” My motherhood experience has not been as long as others, however,
being a mother has completely changed my life forever.
I no longer live for me, there is a little girl that watches my every move
and depends on me every second of every day.
Being a school teacher, most days are hectic, but when I finally get to pick up my daughter
and her whole demeanor changes, my crazy day fades away.
Her little face lights up and she squeals, “momma!” before I can even complain about my day.
She loves to give big sloppy wet kisses and “love” (hug) on you.
She never meets a stranger and always tries to grab the person’s attention next to us.
She is learning how to walk and is always on the go!
Being a mother isn’t always easy, but it is so rewarding!
God has truly blessed us with a sweet miracle! ”

“One of my favorite memories from motherhood is one I get to have a lot.
Hearing Frankie say “I love you momma” and giving me a big hug is honestly the sweetest thing.
I will never forget how my heart melted the first time she told me and hugged me all on her own. She’s got a mean streak a mile wide (that she gets from her deddy) but deep down she is the sweetest little soul and is super caring and loving.”
” Picking a single memory seems almost impossible since every single day
holds a new funny, sweet, adventurous memory.
As a mother of two beautiful, amazing girls,
I couldn’t be more proud to see the little ladies they are becoming!
They are Irish twins, and so they jostle back and forth between friends and enemies quite regularly, but I live for the moments when I know they’ll always be there for each other!
It was four years ago at Easter. Willow was turning 3 and Juniper was turning 2 pretty soon.
I put Easter eggs all over the front yard for the girls to enjoy hunting them.
Willow is competitive by nature, and while she hurried to fill her basket, she turned to notice Juniper moving much slower. Willow stopped filling her own basket to help her sister find Easter eggs .
It melted my heart then and still does to this day!! I have the best kids anyone could ask for, and
I love watching them grow a little more each day!”

” My most favorite memory was the day I became a mommy.
All I ever wanted to be growing up was a mom.
Of course after nine months of pregnancy, and me being such a worry wart,
I was super ready to meet our girl. I will never forget hearing her first cry.
That was the moment I was flooded with relief and the most overpowering love that is almost unexplainable. That will forever be the most precious sound in the world to me.
I knew then I had been forever changed. ”

” Some days motherhood is hard… really hard.
The job can feel overwhelming at times with young ones it can often feel more than a bit thankless.
In the midst of these challenging moments though,
I have been so blessed to experience many more beautiful moments.
I have been given so many sweet moments and memories to treasure.
Although one of my favorites is even in the midst of what feels like chaos,
hearing her sweet voice say,
” Mama I love you more than all the stars in the skies and all the leaves on the trees.”
These simple words will forever be engraved on my heart.
– Kayla Shelnutt
” My favorite motherhood memories with Ava is sleeping with her.
I know that sounds super crazy but yes, she still co-sleeps.
It’s my favorite part of the day getting in bed with her and getting her snuggles.
I used to hold her, but now she likes to hold me while she sleeps. I’ll savor every minute of it.”
