” Patrick and I have known each other since we were in high school. We met through mutual friends and ended up at several sporting events and school functions where we spent a lot of time together. We were always very good “friends”, and while we were hanging out one day he mentioned that he had a crush on me when we were in elementary school. Back then, at age 10, he was too shy to ask me to be his girlfriend. Long after this he asked me to go to his Senior Prom in 2009. Once he graduated, he went to Auburn University, and two years later I made the move to the Loveliest Village on the Plains. We had lost touch, but as soon as I was settled and finished with Sorority Rush he called and wanted to catch up. He asked me to the go to the first football game of the season and tailgate with his fraternity brothers. The rest is history, we have been together ever since! “
” Patrick proposed on Christmas Eve. It wasn’t carefully and meticulously planned out, and it was perfect. He had my ring custom made which took a little over a month. Once he had the ring and asked my parents permission, he had it in his possession a few times when we were together, but didn’t feel like it was the right time.
On Christmas Eve, he came to pick me up to go to dinner with his family, and he said he just couldn’t stare at my ring in the box anymore. He got down on one knee, in my parents driveway. I was so stunned and surprised, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way!
Patrick and Kayti were so much fun at their engagement session! They were just so easy going and up for anything. Patrick reminded me so much of my own goofy husband! Patrick and Kayti have known each other since 2008 and have been dating since 2012, so they already acted like a perfect, happily married couple!
Thank you Patrick and kayti for choosing me to be your photographer! I absolutely enjoyed meeting you two and capturing this wonderful and exciting moment in your life! I know your wedding is going to be so much fun and I can’t wait to capture it this coming February!
